WeCreate is the alliance of the NZ creative industries, the hub for New Zealand’s creative sector. Their role is to be a catalyst for the growth of NZ creativity and to facilitate information and access to creative content.

 

In 2019, WeCreate, New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT)  hosted a Creative Digital Trade Conversation. The event included creative industry and ministry presentations and panels, case studies and workshops.

 

The aim of the event was to:

  • Build understanding, knowledge, and relationships between creative digital exporters and government.
  • Determine action to work more closely together to accelerate the growth of creative digital trade.
  • Inform, and decide action on trade matters ‘of-the-moment’, especially the WTO e-commerce and digital negotiations.

 

Lightbox Projects managed all aspects of the event, liaising with organisations, delegates and event attendees.
